Experiencing Life

Introduction

Experience life to the fullest. Take advantage of the free time you have and use it to further grow as a person by reading, writing, singing, dancing, or even just smiling. There are so many things you can do with that extra hour of time. You could watch that tv show you’re addicted to or you could take that time to rest and nap. You’ve still used your hour but now, in a productive way. Whatever else you do after, you will feel refreshed and relaxed instead of on edge or emotional. Maybe, today is the day you use your hour to go to a local art museum or maybe, you’ll use your time to eat lunch so you can finally calm down from that long presentation. Today, you have the chance to do anything. So, what will you do? Don’t waste the time you do have with things that won’t actually matter.

Holding onto Life

For me, the most important things in life are memories and experiences. Even when I don’t have a lot of money or security, I can hold onto that joy and satisfaction in doing what I love instead of my belongings; there is no guarantee I will have any of my material possessions tomorrow. Why should I spend time collecting those things that I may one day get rid of? For this reason, making time for life experiences and other things that I care about is very important to me. If that isn’t important to you, you can stop reading because the rest of this post will not be helpful. One example of this is that people often put off traveling because work is more important or they’re afraid money is too tight. Isn’t it time you finally experience something real? Your work will be there tomorrow and you can survive without a comfortable amount of money. Traveling might make your budget tighter but if it is a life experience you want to have then it is worth it. Let me rephrase this for those of you that don’t like to travel. What is something that makes you feel alive? Find whatever that is and do it! You are allowed to make your own decisions even if they don’t make sense to other people. If people say you can’t do something, show them you can (as long as it is healthy and right for you).

Conclusion

You may be thinking that this is a selfish thing for you to do, but it is not. On the contrary, it might actually be better than staying in a situation, job, or educational environment that makes you miserable. Everyone has something they can do to make the world a better place, too. Find a way to do that thing you love, make money doing it, and help people while you’re at it. You aren’t being selfish by quitting your job. You’re helping the world in a way other people never could. Whatever you want to be, go do that! Your dreams are not impossible. They may be challenging but you can go after them. Don’t let anyone or anything stop you. It is possible to make your life the giant experience you’ve always dreamed. Let me say that differently. It is possible to live a life of memories you love. If you currently feel trapped or hopeless in your life situation, don’t fret. You will have your time to shine. If you only feel afraid, I have good news for you. Fear and anxiety are the only things holding you back. They’re not as strong as you think they are. You can do this. Go, be you, and do what you were born to do!
